Renowned businessman and philanthropist, Chief Moritz Abazie, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai, describing it as a monumental loss to Christianity not only in Nigeria but across the world.
Chief Abazie, in a condolence message, said Rev. Dr. Ukpai’s life was a shining example of unwavering faith, humility, and service to God and humanity. He noted that the revered evangelist’s ministry touched countless lives through his crusades, teachings, and humanitarian works that spread the gospel and uplifted the less privileged.
According to Chief Abazie, “Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai was not just a preacher but a divine vessel whose messages brought hope, healing, and salvation to millions. His departure creates a huge vacuum in the body of Christ, but his legacy of faith and love will continue to inspire generations.”
He prayed for the repose of the great man of God’s soul and for God’s comfort upon his family, the Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Ministry, and the entire Christian community.
