Hon. Demian Igbokwe has congratulated Dr. Emeka Wogu and Rt. Hon. Stanley Ohajiruka on their recent appointments to the board of the South East Development Commission.
In his congratulatory remarks, Hon. Igbokwe, the Special Adviser to the Minority Whip of the Senate, extolled Barrister Emeka Wogu as a distinguished gentleman who has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities in public service.
“Your extensive background in law and the various positions you have held in public service uniquely position you to excel in your new role of pioneering the much-needed development in Igboland.”
Regarding Rt. Hon. Stanley Ohajiruka, Igbokwe described him as a seasoned legislator and administrator—an individual with a sound mind who will leverage his wealth of experience in leadership to effectively oversee the affairs of the SEDC.
He characterized their appointments as a testament to their individual capabilities, stating that their public service experience and dedication will significantly contribute to the economic and infrastructural renaissance of the South East. He urged them to use their positions to attract and promote development in Abia State.
Igbokwe also commended President Tinubu for his pan-Nigerian, inclusive leadership and wished both appointees success in their new roles.
