In a message signed by Prof. Eleazar Uche Ikonne, and made available to the press, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Abia state, described the victory of Sen. Ademola Adeleke in last Saturday’s governorship election in Osun state as an inspiration to other governorship candidates of the party as they approach the 2023 general elections, he expressed confidence that the governor-elect will deliver on the much needed democratic dividends which the people of Osun have been yearning for.

The Osun victory is a measure of the trust and confidence of the people of Osun State in the PDP and the person of Sen. Ademola Adeleke, your victory is inspiring to us, the PDP gubernatorial candidates, and a strong indication that Nigerians have embraced the true democratic leadership of PDP.
