As the Ohanaeze Presidential election draws closer, on Friday 27th December 2024, Chief Amechi Fyneface, a front runner for the No. 1 seat of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo worldwide in the company of his entourage visited HRM, Eze Adiele Maduagwu JP at his palace along, NO 9 Ada George Road, Port Harcourt.
During the visit, the highly respected and prominent King of the Ndi Igbo in Rivers and Bayelsa poured royal blessings on him at his palace.
The historical event had the imperial Majesty perform traditional and Christian blessings with a fatherly declaration of Peace and Victory for Chief Fyneface, he extolled his humility, competence, and capacity and wished him success.
The highly respected traditional ruler advised that as a traditional ruler he is open to all and that those who respect him shall be reciprocated.
The palace which was filled with a crowd of Igbos from all walks of life had in attendance the President General of UIC, Hon.Chief Julius Uchenna Uzoma who seized the opportunity to encourage the candidacy of Chief Fyneface Amechi, he advised him to be more prudent while praying for him to succeed.
In his remarks, Hon. Mazi Felix expressed his readiness to support Chief Fyneface, describing him as courageous, sincere, humble, bold, and fit for the job.
Similarly, in his generous blessings, HRH Eze Festus Ikechukwu Onukwufor (Eze Ndigbo Oyigbo) declared that God would favor Chief Fyneface Amechi, referring to him as a man with an open heart.
Earlier, Chief Amechi Fyneface, a native of Ozuzu in the Etche Local Government Area of Rivers State and a leading candidate for the prestigious position of President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo worldwide had also visited the Igbo community in Rivers State to seek their blessings, patriotic counsel, and prayers as he aims to secure the presidency of Ohaneze Ndigbo worldwide.
Prominent Igbo sons and daughters present at the palace of HRM Eze Adiele Maduagwu remarked that the blessings bestowed upon Chief Amechi by the royal fathers serve as a testament that the Lord Almighty, who crowns kings, will crown all of Chief Amechi’s efforts to His glory.
