Ndi Eze Ohuhu on Wednesday paid a condolence visit to the chief of staff to the Governor of Abia State who lost his wife, chief Mrs Onyinyechi Agbazuere.
Speaking during the visit Eze Nnamdi Ofoegbu said “We are here to commiserate with you over the death of your wife. We received with sadness the news of the death of our great and patriotic daughter who is well loved by all.
“Ndi Ohuhu are in great pains because of her death, he described the death of Mrs Agbazuere as unfortunate, untimely and painful and noted that the late Chief Mrs Agbazuere who was just conferred with a chieftaincy title as the Adaukwu Ohuhu, alongside his husband on the 28th of August by Ndi Eze Ohuhu in recognition of her support and contributions for the welfare of Ohuhu was hale and hearty and displayed no sign of sickness, he however consoled Prof. Agbazuere with the fact that her late wife died a Godly woman.
Also speaking Chief Charles Onwuneme said though the entire Ohuhu is still grief-stricken over the loss of Mrs Agbazuere, but are consoled with the testimonies coming from friends and family and that we are sure God called her home for a purpose but as mere mortals though we still need her around but we can’t question God.
He however told Prof. Agbazuere to be consoled with the fact that she lived a good life and asked him to take care of the children she left behind.
Contributing Eze Innocent Nwaigwe, told Prof. Agbazuere to look upto God in all situations and asked God to console the family at this time of grief, he however promised Prof. Agbazuere and family that ohuhu will stand by them and support them during and after the burial of Mrs Agbazuere who he described as a great Ohuhu daughter.
In his response Prof. Agbazuere thanked them for their love and Solidarity for him not just at this time but that ndi ohuhu have always shown him love as an inlaw and a friend, he said his marriage to their daughter was a great blessing to him and that his late wife was always by him and contributed immensely towards his success in life.
Other Eze,s present during the visit are Eze Godswill Asomugha and Eze Paul Uzegbu, while some prominent sons of Ohuhu including Chief Charles Onwuneme, Aju Vu Ohuhu, Chief Uche Aguoru, Ikemba Ohuhu, Comrade Okey Ufomadu, President Ohuhu Solidarity Forum, Chief Chidiebere Nwachukwu, Hon. Obed Nnaji Asiegbu and Hon. Ugochukwu Ezeocha accompanied Ndi Eze to the visit.
