IPOB: Sit At Home Tomorrow And Lose Your Jobs,Business Premises, Umahi Warns Civil Servants, Banks

In a release signed by the secretary to Ebony state government, Governor Dave Umahi, has issued a strict warning to all residents of Ebony state especially the civil servants and the business community to ensure that they report for duty tomorrow Monday the 30th of august or lose their jobs and business premises

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

His Excellency, the Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr. Dr. David Nweze Umahi, FNSE, FNATE, has directed that all Civil and Public Servants must report to work across the State on Monday and whosoever fails to report to his or her duty post, stands to lose his/her job. All heads of MDA’s are to take note and also maintain attendance of workers.

  1. Similarly, any shop or bank that fails to open for business activities on Monday 30th August 2021, in Ebonyi State, stands the risk of losing the right to operate business or banking operation in the State.
  2. The general public is by this announcement advised to go about their normal businesses without fear.
  3. Security agencies have been directed to patrol 24 hours in all corners of the State.

All concerned are to take note and adhere strictly to this government directive.
