Chief Emeka Utah, Chairman Taurus Hotels Ltd Umuahia, has assured the Afugiri community of his willingness towards contributing to the welfare and security of not only Afugiri but Ohuhu in general, Chief Utah made this declaration when members of the Afugiri Vigilante Group paid him a courtesy visit in his country home, Umuegwu Afugiri on Sunday 23rd January 2022.
The group led by Mr. Chinenye Okpara reeled out some of the challenges they are having which includes lack of basic security equipment, he also highlighted some of the achievements and efforts of the group in making sure that Afugiri is secured.
In his response Chief Utah, assured them of his support and stated that the security of not only Afugiri but that of every Ohuhu man or woman is important to him, he encouraged them to keep up their efforts in making sure that Afugiri secured, he made a cash donation to the group and promised to provide them with other of their needs such as boots, uniform and other security equipment, he assured them of his readiness to assist whenever he was called upon.
The group thanked him for his magnanimity and generous support towards the security of the people and vowed to ensure the security of every Afugiri resident.
