Hon. Adaelu Hands Over Amavor General Hospital to Anglican Diocese of Aba Ngwa North
In a symbolic act of legacy and service to humanity, Rt. Hon. Solomon Ezinwa Adaelu, former Member of the House of Representatives representing Obingwa, Osisioma Ngwa, and Ugwunagbo Federal Constituency, officially handed over the newly completed Amavor General Hospital to the Anglican Diocese of Aba Ngwa North.
The hospital, one of several legacy projects executed during his time at the National Assembly, was handed over to the Diocese. its original owner to manage and operate for the medical benefit of the people of Osisioma Ngwa and the entire constituency.
The formal handover ceremony, held today, was performed on behalf of Rt. Hon. Adaelu his personal aide, Mr. Nwogu Chinwendu U.
Receiving the facility on behalf of the Diocese was Venerable Precision Okere, Cathedral Administrator and official representative of the Bishop of Aba Ngwa North.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Nwogu reiterated Rt. Hon. Adaelu’s commitment to sustainable development and accessible healthcare, noting that the hospital’s handover fulfills a long-standing promise to return the facility to its rightful owners for effective and professional management.
“The handing over of this hospital to the Anglican Church is in line with Hon. Adaelu’s vision for improved healthcare delivery and the continued empowerment of institutions that serve our people with integrity and compassion,” he stated.
The Venerable Okere, in his response, expressed profound gratitude on behalf of the Diocese and assured the public that the hospital will be put to immediate and impactful use to serve the health needs of the community.
This hospital project adds to the impressive record of Rt. Hon. Solomon Adaelu’s contributions to the growth and wellbeing of his constituency during his time at the National Assembly, reinforcing his legacy as a servant leader who continues to deliver, even beyond office.
