Group Call On Abia Speaker Rt. Hon. Chinedum Enyinnsya Orji, To Join The 2023 Governorship Race.

A group under the aegis of INTIMATE FRIENDS OF IKUKU, has called on the speaker of Abia State House Of Assembly Rt. Hon. Chinedum Enyinnaya ORJI to as a matter of political urgency declare his intention to vie for the forthcoming Abia state governorship election in 2023.

The group is an amalgam of professionals and entrepreneurs from all parts of Abia state but with interest in the political emancipation of the state through sourcing of competent and credible candidates to drive the State to the promised land.

In a statement signed by the leader of the group, Prince Chidiebere Ogbulafor and made available to Journalists over the weekend noted that the call became necessary because the speaker represents the aspirations of the youths.

According to the group, her teeming members who are energetic men and women, strong political stakeholders who cut across party lines and estabished firmly in the 17 Local Government Areas of Abia State, have resolved to openly persuade Rt. Hon. Chinedum Enyinnsya Orji whose pedigree speaks volumes for him to throw his hat into the ring for the sake of the youths of the state, we need him to drive the development of the state because we believe in his vision and his capacity to deliver.

We will pursue this goal as a people propelled by a common zeal in pursuit of progress and advancement of all Abians, we believe the state can overcome its current political and economic challenges if we have a prudent, energetic and masses-oriented leader like Rt. Hon. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji on the saddle.
