Go out there and develop Abia, Arthur Eze tells Prof. Ikonne

A foremost Igbo leader and Anambra-born billionaire, Prince Arthur Eze has charged the 2023 Abia PDP gubernatorial candidate, Prof. Eleazar Uche Ikonne develop Abia State as he emerges the next Governor of Abia State.

Prince Arthur Eze gave the charge while receiving Prof. Uche Ikonne who paid him a visit in his Abuja residence. He said “I charge you to go out there and develop Abia, Abia is a very strategic and important State in Igbo land.”

The Oil magnate, who appreciated the towering qualities and qualifications of Prof. Uche Ikonne said “I have read about you, your experience and capacity is not in doubt I believe that with you, given your track record of quality performance that is based on empirical evidence as a public servant, competence and capacity, educational qualification and character you are eminently qualified to champion not only the development of Abia state but to lead regional development.”

He further stated that Prof. Ikonne is “better positioned in terms of experience, pedigree, character, transparency, and capacity to govern Abia and lead it through infrastructural and economic development” adding that his type and that of the Anambra State Governor, Prof. Soludo is what the South East needs at this time and assured that he would support Prof. Uche Ikonne with all that is required to win the election and become the next Governor of Abia State.

Responding, the 2023 Abia PDP gubernatorial candidate, Prof. Eleazar Uche Ikonne thanked Prince Arthur Eze for his interest in him and assured that when elected, he would not disappoint the trust and confidence Igbo leaders like Prince Arthur Eze repose in him.

The Abia Governorship hopeful used the opportunity to inform the business guru of his manifesto and urged other stakeholders to encourage the people to obtain their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) so as to make use of it to elect leaders who have what it takes to improve the lives of people and build the economy of the State.
