It was a gathering of friends, well-wishers, and family of the ace music icon Ejekajo Williams to celebrate with him on his election as the governor of PMAN Abia state chapter, in a thanksgiving ceremony held at Assemblies of God church in Umuahia in reverence to God over his historic election as the Governor of Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN), Abia State Chapter
The Ohuhu, Umuahia North-born musician was elected Governor at the general election of the association held on the 6th of april 2024 in Umuahia.
Speaking with News Men after the church service which was held on Sunday 7th of July 2024, Chief Ejeh Williams, popularly called De ICON thanked members of the association for electing him as the Governor in an election that witnessed a massive turnout and the conduct was very peaceful.
Chief Ejeh Williams stated that the new administration is poised to rebrand the association and take it to a higher level, to this end he said several programs have been earmarked towards repositioning the organization and making it stronger.
He said the organization will organize PMAN Award Night and Legends Night in partnership with various sectors of the state economy, and part of the proceeds will be used to support the less privileged in society including families of their departed colleagues as well as promote the welfare of its members and to ensure lasting peace in the association amongst others.
