A renowned entrepreneur and businessman, Chief Emmanuel Egwu (Esere), has extended his heartfelt condolences to Mayor Lucky Igbokwe (Don Lulu) on the passing of his beloved mother, Dame Peace Onyekwulechi Igbokwe.
Chief Egwu described the late matriarch as a rare gem and a mother to all who selflessly cared for everyone who crossed her path. He acknowledged her life of compassion, generosity, and deep commitment to family and community values.
He urged Mayor Igbokwe and the entire Igbokwe family to take solace in the remarkable legacy their mother left behind, stating that her good deeds would continue to speak for her and inspire many. The late Chief Sir Obioha Egwu who died after a brief illness will be laid to rest on Wednesday, December 17th, 2025, at his country home, Dikeukwu Autonomous Community, Ekenobizi, Umuopara, Umuahia South LGA, Abia State.
Though this is a very painful loss for us all, we take solace in the will of God who gives and takes life according to His divine purpose.
He is survived his beloved wife, children, relatives, and numerous friends who will forever cherish his memory.
May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
