Yes, some of them may have paid dearly for their firm stance on the South producing the next president after Buhari, a fulani northerner by losing their own elections but the truth is Dr. Ikpeazu and his friends are happy and fulfilled men having realised what they fought and stood for though not from their party the PDP but that is the whole essence of the integrity group.
Despite the odds, the fact that Dr. Ikpeazu went ahead to commission 9 projects regardless of the outcome of the elections is a pointer to the fact that his promises and commitments to the electorate is not tied to electoral fortunes.
Today they reminded Mr President that equity, justice and fairness must define his leadership style going forward.
Contrary to the negative wishes of some people, natural justice will be kind to them and they will receive the recompence for living with honour and conviction till the end. CHARACTER Is everything and you can’t pretend for a long time.
But in everything, remember all they asked for and still asking for is fairness, equity and justice.
