An Oyo state high court sitting in Ibadan, on Friday ordered the Federal Government of Nigeria to pay N20billion to Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Igboho.
According to the court, the money is for damages for the invasion of his residence at Soka area of Ibadan.
POLITICS NIGERIA earlier reported that officers of the Department of State Security Service, DSS on July 1st stormed Igboho’s house to arrest him. A shoot out occurred between the operatives and Igboho’s security men.
DSS operatives killed two of Igboho’s men before proceeding to raid the entire residence. The security agency recovered several arms, bloody charms and various communications devices. Shortly after, Igboho was declared wanted for illegal fire arms possession and other crimes.
