Continue Your Noble Role In The Church, Society, Barr. Okey Igwe Charges Women

The PDP Deputy Governorship candidate in the forthcoming general election in Abia State, Barr. Okey Igwe has charged Christian women to continue their noble role of being agents of change and development in the church and society at large.

Barr. Okey Igwe gave the charge while speaking as a special guest of honour at an event at the Methodist Church Nigeria, Nneato Diocese.

He stressed the need for women to carry out their God given assignments in making the society better for it. According to him, a lot is expected of the women folk in ensuring development in all facets of life.

The PDP Deputy Governorship candidate, who was at the event
on the invitation of the Bishop of Nneochi Diocese, Rt. Rev. Ken Egbochue and his wife described women as agents of positive change and development.


He urged the women to support the Ikonne/Igwe ticket and ensure that the PDP candidates emerge victorious at the 2023 general elections.

Earlier, the women of Methodist Church Nigeria, Nneochi Diocese appreciated Hon. Barr. Okey Igwe
and assured him that they would not relent in carrying out their duties in ensuring a better society.

They equally assured him that they would support their son, Barr. Okey Igwe and his principal, Prof. Uche Ikonne to win the 2023 Governorship election in Abia State.
