The traditional rulers in Ohuhu, Umuahia North Local government area, led by their chairman Eze Nnamdi Ofoegbu on Saturday the 28th of August 2021 bestowed on Hon. Bob Agbugba the deputy Chairman Umuahia North LGA, with an award of honour in recognition of his efforts at redefining leadership and running an open door administration since he assumed office.
Handing over the ROYAL EXCELLENCE AWARD to him, they royal fathers praised him for his initiatives which is aimed at uplifting the youth through education and other developmental programs, they charged him not to relent but to keep up his good works, also at the occasion was the Chief of Staff to governor Okezie Ikpeazu, Prof. ACB Agbazuere who was honoured with a chieftaincy title alongside other notable dignitaries.
Also the Umuahia Province of the Eternal Sacred Order of Cherubim and Seraphim, on Sunday the 29th of August 2021 recognized him and his wife with an award of honour as the best couple of the year.
Hon. Agbugba also within the week donated to the Nigeria Police, Ohuhu Division a set of brand new tyres to assist them in their job of securing Ohuhu.
Speaking with News Men, Hon. Agbugba thanked God, his church and Ohuhu clan for the honour and stated that the awards will spur him to do more.
