Chief Ikenna Okafor has been honoured with the prestigious chieftaincy title of Ikuku Oma na Uturu by the Uturu council of Ndi Eze.
The traditional title was conferred upon him on Saturday by the Uturu Council of Ndi Eze, led by HRH Eze Charles Onuoha (Isiyi 1 of Isiyi), in recognition of his numerous humanitarian efforts and community development services.
The event took place at the palace of Isiyi 1 of Isiyi autonomous community, where HRH Eze Charles Onuoha was joined by other prominent traditional rulers, friends, and well-wishers of Chief Okafor. Notable guests at the occasion included Mr. Celestine Obasi, an Abuja-based business mogul and Managing Director/CEO of Downtown Engineering Company LTD, Chief Oliver Obiukwu (Mekaria na Uturu), a USA-based business mogul, and many others.
Chief Ikenna Okafor is a Portharcourt-based businessman and Chairman of Constance Energy Group, he is also the Founder of the Ikenna Okafor Foundation.
Recall that the foundation on 24th December held the inaugural Uturu Arts and Crafts Festival and during the event distributed food items and cash gifts to over 600 households across the 24 autonomous communities in Uturu
