Governor Biodun Oyebanji has emerged as the consensus candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2026 Ekiti State governorship election.
His confirmation followed a consensus affirmation exercise held on Monday at the Ekiti Parapo Pavilion in Ado-Ekiti, where party delegates and stakeholders unanimously endorsed his candidacy.
The decision, according to party insiders, reflects the APC’s resolve to maintain unity and strengthen continuity in governance ahead of the upcoming polls.
