The family of Late Deacon Bob Ejimnkeonye and the entire Umoudo Umuakwū Community in Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area of Abia State have announced the burial details of their matriarch, Ezinne/Deaconess Comfort Nwanyinnaya Ogu (Nne Wohu), who passed on at the age of 96.
A revered community mother, devoted Christian, and woman of deep virtue, Ezinne Ogu was celebrated for her life of unwavering faith, charity, and service to God and humanity. Her legacy of love, wisdom, and compassion continues to live on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who were touched her kindness.
According to the burial programme released the family and signed Elder Barr. Bob Chidozie Ogu, the solemn rites will begin on Thursday, December 18, 2025, with the departure of her remains from SDA Mortuary to her hometown, Umoudo, Umuakwū, at 3:00 p.m., followed a Night of Songs at 6:00 p.m.
The funeral events will hold on Friday, December 19, 2025. There will be a lying-in-state at the Bob-Ogu Compound from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
Funeral service to be conducted the United Evangelical Church (Founded as Qua Iboe Church) will follow at the Umoudo/Umuakwū Community School Field from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
followed Interment at 1:30 p.m. at the Bob-Ogu Compound.
A Thanksgiving Service in honour of the late matriarch will take place on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at the United Evangelical Church, Umuakwū Congregational Church.
