Abia APC Renaissance Group Exposes Fresh Plot By Gov. Alex Otti To Rejoin APC By Seeking The Intervention Of The Oba of Lagos.
The attention of 𝐀𝐛𝐢𝐚 𝐀𝐏𝐂 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 has been drawn to fresh reports indicating that Governor Alex Otti has secretly reached out to the Oba of Lagos, seeking intervention and political rescue amidst growing tensions in Abia’s political landscape.
In recent weeks, Governor Otti has publicly denied any association with the All Progressives Congress (APC), insisting that he has seen nothing in the party that could possibly attract him. During his last radio programme with his carefully selected media aides, he boasted that anyone expecting to see him join the APC would have to wait forever.
However, despite such public posturing, credible intelligence suggests a different reality. The Governor, who believes the Oba of Lagos owes him a political favor, has reportedly reached out to the monarch to intercede with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his behalf. This desperate move comes at a time when APC in Abia is gaining momentum, leaving the Governor politically vulnerable and increasingly isolated.
It is, therefore, both ironic and shameful that after months of attacking the President and maligning key APC figures from the South East, Governor Otti now seeks the same party’s help through backdoor diplomacy.
We are not surprised. Otti has consistently thrived on deceit, propaganda, and political hypocrisy. To his aides, he reportedly brags that no matter how much he insults the President or ridicules the APC, he can always run to the Oba of Lagos to clean his slate.
The Abia APC Renaissance Group wishes to remind the Governor that leadership built on arrogance, deceit, and double-speak cannot endure. The people of Abia are now wiser and will no longer be deceived theatrics designed to mask failure and desperation.
Abia deserves transparency, accountability, and honest leadership not a Governor who says one thing in public and does the exact opposite in secret.
Signed,
