A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) youth group, the PDP New Generation, has stated that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar The PDP flag bearer in the 2023 presidential election is the most prepared to govern the country, in a press conference held in Umuahia the capital of Abia state, the group stated that Alhaji Abubakar is the only presidential candidate with the cognate experience and preparedness to lead Nigeria out of its present quagmire.
They said their major campaign focus would be to engage in an issue-based campaign, targeting mainly young men and women across the country and to ensure that Atiku gets a minimum of ten thousand votes from the youths in the coming elections.
Addressing newsmen in umuahia ahead of the February 11th presidential campaign in Abia state, Hauwa Atiku-Uwais, Chairperson and convener of the group said The group’s mission is to preach the message of Rescue Nigeria with the theme R.E.S.E.T Nigeria, he said Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is the only presidential candidate who understands Nigeria and is willing to steer the ship of Nigeria back to safety.
Engr. Shima Ayu, DDG North Central, and Dr. Ugochukwu Williams DDG South East in their separate addresses said Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is a unifier who has contributed significantly towards the unity and growth of the country, stating that Alhaji Abubakar, if elected, will ensure the restructuring of the country and ensure that power is devolved from the center, assuring that Alhaji Abubakar will address the agitation and insecurity in the southeast.
Hon Uko Nkole, Member PDP Presidential Campaign Council/team leader southeast urged Abians and the whole of the southeast to ensure that they vote for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar whom he described as the leader the country needs at this time given his experience and preparedness, he stated that Alhaji Abubakar will ensure that the country is returned back to the path progress where the country was before the APC took over the country and destroyed all the progressive policies that saw the country measuring progressively with the best economies in the world in the area GDP, he encouraged the youths to vote massively for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar describing him as the only presidential candidate that has their interest at heart, who also has the capacity to end insecurity and rescue the country from the hands of the APC, he decried the suffering that Nigerians are going through and insisted that it is Alhaji Abubakar that can end their sufferings.
In his own address Rt. Hon Chikwendu Kanu, Member of the presidential campaign council in Abia state urged Abians to vote for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar describing him as the unifier the country needs at this time, he said never in the history of this nation has the country witnessed so much disunity and insecurity stating that the only answer to the insecurity and suffering that Nigerians are currently witnessing is to vote in Alhaji Abubakar and vote out the APC.
